Abstract
This paper analyzes the dynamics of gross regional product of Far Eastern Federal District (in Russia); analyzes the structural changes of sectors of the economy during the period between 2005 and 2014; the significance of structural changes was calculated; the recommendations to ensure the region's economic growth were formulated.
