THE COMMERCIAL BANKS AS AGENTS OF FOREIGN EXCHANGE CONTROL

Abstract
The paper studies the problems of commercial banks as the participants of foreign economic activity. The theme is particularly relevant in the context of macroeconomic instability and economic crisis. The author concludes that the further development of the national monetary system is likely to require the strengthening of the role of commercial banks in foreign trade activities.
