Abstract
The paper proposed a method for evaluation of material and technical development in educational sphere. Following this procedure the authors performed calculations in which isolated regions of the Russian Federation with different rates of development of the material and technical base of educational institutions. Article may be applied to regional authorities in the preparation of strategies for social and economic development.
