METHODS FOR MONITORING THE SOCIO-ECONOMIC DEVELOPMENT OF THE RUSSIAN REGION

Abstract
Creating a scientific basis for management decisions in the field of regional economic and social policies requires an objective assessment of the inequality of conditions in which the regions are. The main factors that contributes to the differences between the subjects of the Russian Federation should include economic and geographical situation, the structure and level of development of production, the state of social services and the level of development of social infrastructure, demographics, scientific and technical potential, the environment, crime situation and on Budget financial relationships. For a comprehensive account of their impact on the socio-economic development of regions need to develop a methodology to assess these factors by means of a system of indicators, taking into account differences in the content, significance and temporal characteristics of the indicators.
