Abstract
In article problems of modern world currency system are considered. In the current conditions the Jamaican world currency system ceased to meet for a number of the economical and political reasons to requirements imposed to it by world economy in the conditions of globalization. In this regard the main approaches to reforming of world currency system are formulated. Inclusion of the IMF of the Chinese currency in the currency SDR basket became a step towards formation of new system with a set of reserve currencies.
