AbstractThe article deals with the problem of sanctions limitations faced by the Republic of Crimea. Traced the steps of the imposition of sanctions against the Crimea, the scope of which they are affected. Particular attention is paid to displacement patterns and vectors of exports and imports of goods and services of the Republic of Crimea. The studies of the dynamics of the consolidated balance of foreign trade of the Republic of Crimea designed export coverage ratio of imports of goods are based. It substantiates the idea that on the one hand limits the sanctions become an additional factor for the growth of food prices in the domestic market along with the devaluation of the ruble, and with another - the introduction of a food embargo has become a new impetus for the development of their own agricultural peninsula.Keywords: food embargo, Republic of Crimea, sanctions, trade balance
