Abstract
The article carried out a comparative study of the investment characteristics of silver compared to gold according to the six-year history of futures on the metals of the Moscow stock exchange. Securities Investment characteristics determined using a genetic algorithm. As a result, it found that silver has a much greater potential returns to the six-year period, but less stable compared to gold.
