Abstract
The aim of the article was to discuss the different subtypes of a democratic political regime, within which there is a distortion of the fundamental principles of democracy, which is reflected, in particular, on economic systems of the states. As part of the research the authoritarian liberalism, anarcho-liberalism and limited democracy were examined, as well as the historical examples of economic systems within these sub-types of political regimes were analyzed.
