Abstract
The article considers modern approaches to risk assessment of the budget of the municipality. The paper presents the assessment of budgetary risks Murom district of the Vladimir region with the use of statistical methods. Budget revenues are grouped by their level of risk of the shortfall, while budget expenditures are grouped according to the risk level of their underfunding. The paper presents an assessment of the expected largest size of the deficit, which with a given probability can sustain the budget of the Murom district of the Vladimir region during the forecast period, as well as the assessment of the risk of failure of budget revenues.
