Abstract
In the article analysis of a situation on the market of cable production in Russia is depicted. As the purpose of the analysis the understanding of the reasons of market's stagnation and formation of conclusions about its development and the decision of a problem of replacement of import serves. The main conclusion of the article consists in necessity of deep integration of the domestic industry with the foreign companies in questions of scientific cooperation.
