Abstract
The article discusses the concept of lending and credit risk, accompanying It as well as the impact of credit risk on the quality of credit to the economy from the perspective of the level of arrears. Defined the value of the borrower's creditworthiness and discusses methods to assess in terms of domestic and foreign techniques. Presented the most frequently used model in the Russian and foreign practice, depending on the prevailing economic conditions.
