Abstract
The article presents the problem of “institutional traps”, which is quite widespread nowadays in modern economy. The research of this issue starts at the end of the XX century. The article covers the potential solutions of mentioned problem and shows comparative analysis of measures taken in different countries. Factors that characterize specificity of this issue for Russia are presented more detailed.A set of measures for institutional stabilization in emerging countries is provided in conclusion.
