Abstract
The article analysis inflation, the main causes of inflation, and its social and economic consequences. Presents a statistical analysis of inflationary processes in Russia in 2000-2015., the correlation of the level of money supply and inflation in Russia for the same period. It observes forecasted values of inflation and the main aspects of the anti-inflation policy in Russia.
