ECONOMIC ZONING IN RUSSIA: HISTORY AND MEANING

Abstract
The paper contemplates theoretical and practical explanation of economic zoning and its meaning to the public administration management, in particular in case of Russia as an immense country, possessing a great variety of natural resources. Such basic principles of economic zoning as economic, national, administrative and perspective are analyzed in the paper. The division of integral and industrial zoning is examined on the appropriate exaples. The issue of the most optimal and effective zoning scheme is raised in the research.
