Abstract
This article deals with the issues of innovative development of the regions through the development of industrial clusters and sectoral presence of public corporations, stimulating innovation activity of both the companies and the regional socio-economic system as a whole. Conclusions are made to improve the use of innovative potential of the Southern Federal District.
