Abstract
the article shows the innovative potential of the electric power industry as a condition for the dynamic process of search and introduction of technological and scientific and technical solutions in the framework of state regulation and the creation of a fair mechanisms for attracting investment in the energy sector.
The author comes to the conclusion that companies with a strong innovation potential and able to qualitatively assess the various risks will have a competitive advantage.
