Abstract
One of the most commonly debated and researched fields in the business world is motivation. Why do people do what they do and how can manager motivate others to do what he/she needs them to do in the business place? Understanding that staff is central to this, and discovering what motivates and what demotivates it is crucial. Drawing up a profile for each member of staff will enable to know how best to provide the optimum conditions for loyalty and productivity.
