Abstract
The article deals with the basics of financial management in a commercial Bank. Financial management is based on several fundamental concepts: theoretical and methodological. The system of financial management in a commercial Bank presents interrelated elements: subjects, objects, goals, objectives, functions, principles and mechanism of implementation of the tasks. The efficiency of commercial Bank activity depends on a well-organized financial management, and the balanced interaction of all banking units. Inappropriate management can lead to bankruptcy or revocation of the license.
