Abstract
In the article are investigated the economic problems of Russian accession to the WTO, described the advantages, restrictions and obligations received by Russia as a result of its joining to the WTO. Undoubtedly, this is the very important step for the country; however, its effects are mixed. Recommendations were developed to improve the level of socio-economic situation of the country.
