Abstract
The analysis of the formation and neutralization of wastes on the territory of the Volograd region was made. It has been identified that all hazard classes of wastes are formed on the region’s territory. Metallurgical, chemical and industry of production of building materials gave the greatest contribution in the formation of wastes. There has been a problem of processing and reduction of resulting wastes over the past years.
