Abstract
This article describes the method of determining the time of the introduction of improving innovations on the stages of the life cycle of basic technologies and management of its time steps for industrial products. This study allows to state that this method is most accurate with respect to frequently used expert analysis. This problem affects a large number of areas of innovation management, one of which is forecasting strategy of innovative activity of industrial enterprises.
